What states are you certified as a Women Owned Business (WBE)?

Shipping & Delivery
My business is located in my home, does that mean I will be charged for residential shipping?
- How an address is classified is entirely up to the delivery company; i.e. UPS or the trucking company. Generally the classification has to do with the location and the use of the buildings in a particular location.
Does someone need to be present when my merchandise is delivered?
If your shipment is coming by LTL (tractor trailer/semi-trailer), someone must be present to unload it and sign for the shipment. This is a standard trucking company policy and is something which we have no control over.
Shipments coming LTL means the customer needs to either have a loading dock or have access to a forklift to use in order to lower the shipment to the ground. If you do not have either of these, please let us know so we can quote your delivery with a lift-gate.
If your shipment is coming from UPS/Fed-X, it will depend on the established norms for your location. If a signature is required there will generally be several attempts made indicating that a package is ready for delivery.
We will make every effort to inform you of the tracking information for your order, so you can be aware of the delivery schedule.
What should I do if I am unable to be present for a delivery?
If you are unable to have someone present to receive a LTL delivery, you will need to contact the trucking company to reschedule the delivery. Use the tracking information we have given you in order to determine the company to contact. Have the tracking number available before contacting them.
Undeliverable shipments will be charged to you. In other words, if the freight company tries to deliver your merchandise and no one is there to receive it the freight company will charge you a re-delivery fee to reschedule it. So make sure to reschedule before they attempt delivery.
Sales Tax
In what states do you collect sales tax?
SC Supply Company, LLC collects sales tax in the following states: IN, KY, NY, PA, SC, TN, WA which is subject to change.
If you are a TAX EXEMPT entity, please make sure we get your exemption certificate so that you are not charged sales tax.
Send your Tax Exempt Certificate even if we do not currently collect sales tax in your state, that way if something changes and we are required to collect sales tax you will already be covered.
Product Questions
Flexstake
Do the Flexstake delineators come complete with the base?
Yes, however they do not come with reflective sheeting (reflective exception - airport markers), epoxy, thermo pads (heated glue pads), or fasteners.
What size is the bolt hole in the base of the Flexstake delineator?
The 700 series Surface Mount Flexstake Delineator has 1/4" bolt holes.
Can I order replacement parts?
Yes, replacement posts, bases, pins and grips can be ordered separately. However, if the post has reflective sheeting you would want to order that as well.
Does the reflective sheeting come separate or is it affixed to the post?
The reflective sheeting is generally attached to the post prior to shipment. If you would prefer the sheeting not to be attached, just let us know and we can send it separately in the box.
Traffic Cones
Can I order just one traffic cone?
No, there is a ten (10) cone minimum.
You may mix the cones you want in order to meet the minimum order quantity. However, the cones ordered must remain in the same cone family (i.e. any JBC black base cone or any solid color Lakeside USA made cone).
Which type of cone is the better quality, the JBC black base cones or the Lakeside USA made cones?
Both types of traffic cones are manufactured with the highest quality. SC Supply Company, LLC will only sell quality traffic products that we believe in. The safety of both the traffic safety worker and pedestrian are our top concerns.
Reflective Sheeting
What are the different types of reflective sheeting and what are the differences?
TYPE I - RA or Engineer Grade Prismatic. Material reflects at night when light hits it, signs will not rust and have a 7 year life, and this type is used for non-critical signs.
TYPE III - HIA or High Intensity Prismatic. Material reflects at night when light hits it, ten times more reflective than Type I, signs will not rust and have a 7 year life, and meets most state and federal DOT Specifications.
TYPE XI - DG or Diamond Grade Prismatic. Material reflects at night when light hits it, ten times more reflective than Type III, Signs will not rust and Yellow-Green material has a 10 year life, and meets most state and federal DOT Specifications.
When determining the type of reflective sheeting you need, keep in mind the use of the sign, where it will be located and any local, state or federal specifications that might be in force.
