Regulatory Signs

Regulatory signs are used to indicate traffic patterns, reinforce traffic laws, regulations or requirements which apply either at all times or at specified times or places upon a street or highway giving the motorist direction. The types of regulatory signs most drivers seen have public usage and apply to general conditions. An excellent example of a public regulatory sign is a Yield sign or a Do Not Enter sign, both of which alert drivers to the fact that there could be a problem if the sign is disregarded.
